Kim Johancen is a licensed professional counselor with over twenty years of experience working with clients who have experienced trauma. Her career includes working with adolescent and adult survivors dealing with complicated grief and loss and including sexual trauma, relationship loss, individuals and families who have been impacted by suicide, and clients struggling with self-injury. In addition to seeing adolescents, adults, and families, Kim also has experience facilitating both small and large groups including crisis debriefings at local agencies in Durango, Colorado where she resided until recently. Kim has been invited to present at numerous conferences and seminars both locally and nationally and has presented her work on self-injury at Harvard University and her work with suicidal patients at Stony Brook University in New York after receiving invitations to share her work with well-known professionals in the field. In addition to her clinical work Kim has also been asked to contribute a chapter to Matthew Selekman's Adolescent and Young Adult Self-Harming Treatment Manual and has published over nine articles with the American Counseling Association. Kim currently has a column on the ACA website and continues to offer both counseling and consultation services to various agencies both nationally and locally.

TaNesha has her Masters in social work. She graduated from Colorado State University- Pueblo. TaNesha is passionate about being a social worker as social work's core values of service are, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, and the importance of human relationships. TaNesha became a social worker to advocate for the underserved communities and to bring more resources and education for Mental Health. She understands the stigma on mental health and wants to help break those barriers down, so that people can get the help they need. TaNesha believes more in a holistic, unconventional approach and likes to create a different aspect in the counseling realm. She also has worked with clients with intergenerational and historical trauma. Tanesha has a history working with both children, youth and families. She has past experience as an MST (Multi-systemic) therapist and worked with delinquent youth and their families to help sustain change. TaNesha has also worked in residential with adults who suffer from severe mental health diagnosis and those who have attempted suicide. TaNesha has utilized several different evidence base practices such as DBT/Mindfulness, Motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. TaNesha believes in creating a safe space for all her clients from all different backgrounds in a non- blaming, healing environment. TaNesha believes everyone has a story to tell and wants her clients to know she is there to listen.
